レッスン5では、「What do you like?」
同時にあなたの先生はあなたに「What don't you like?」
What do you like? - I like the color blue, dogs and the game basketball.
What don't you like? - I don't like the color orange, cats and natto.

I love teaching colors to elementary kids, it's great fun and there are so many activities that you can do. Here are some activities that I've used in the past.
Mini presentation
Danger game ( seaweed game )
Have students line up across a wall, say to the students "SAFE" . You the the teacher stand on the opposite side. Show the students a "danger card", say "danger" and shuffle it back into the stack of vocabulary.
Do a Test run with the students.
Tell the students, say the vocabulary they see and take one step forward. Continue drilling the cards, students should be getting closer and closer to you. Show the students the "danger card", tell the students to go to the "safe area", at the same time try and catch a student, as you catch one, say "out". "Out" students become seaweed for the remainder of the game, they can only stretch their arms to catch other students, they cannot move their position.
Reset the game and play again. I usually play until there are only a handful of students left.
Who is the best classmate activity.
Part 1: Tell students that this is a memory game, give them all an ordered number ( 1 - 36 )
Start a chant ( clap, use the beat machine ) point at student number 1 and say "What do you like?" , Student number 1 stands up and say one thing that they like together with the beat " I like dogs ". Next point to student number 2 and again together with the beat "What do you like", student number 2 stands up and say one thing that they like together with the beat " I like oranges ". Next point to student number 3 , then make a cuff around your ear with your other hand, all students should now say " what do you like" together with the beat. Student number 3 stands and says one thing they like. Continue doing this until all students have said one thing they like.
Part 2: Hand out an A4 or B4 piece of paper with a grid on it. Each grid will have a number from 1 - 36 with a blank space next to it. The numbers on the page equal the student, the blank space equals what they like. Give the students some time to write down what they remember, then check the answers.
The student with the most correct answers is the best classmate.
Do you have a question, request or simply want to say thank you. Please leave it in the comments.
