前のレッスンでは、英語でいくつかの挨拶を学びました。 今からあなたはいくつかの基本的なコミュニケーションフレーズを学び始めるでしょう。 レッスン2では、英語の質問「How are you?

Here are some activities that I've used in the past for self introduction.
これが私が自己紹介のために過去に使ったいくつかの活動です。
What's missing
I've seen some really imaginative ways to do this activity over the years, but today let me give you a short and simple explanation.
Drill a set of cards, Shuffle them and take one, two or three cards away. Students practice "X" after you ask them what's missing.
Am I ... Game ?
This is another find "X" game, first organize the class into small groups of 4 or 6, tell students to decide an order from 1 - 4/6, next ask one student to cut out the mini target flash cards at the back of the textbook and scatter it face down on the table ( please make sure that the backside of the flash card is blank first, if it's not, you will have to make some) .
Once the class is ready to begin...
On the count of three, student pick up one card without looking at it and hold it on their foreheads.
By number order, students then take turns to find "X" by saying " Am I ~ " or asking other questions about the card. Members of the group are to reply with Yes, you are or No, you are not after listening to the question.
TPR with feelings:
This is a simple activity I use to drill "Yes and No" answers and to check for understanding.
Point to a side of the classroom and drill " Yes, I am" , Point to the opposite side and drill " No, I'm not" Tell the students to stand up and move to the question. For example
Teacher: Are you hungry?
** Students move to either side of the class **
(Affirmative side )
Teacher: Are you hungry?
SS: Yes, I am.
(Negative side )
Teacher are you hungry?
SS: No, I'm not?
Touch Game
The touch game ( Karuta ) can be played many ways. It can be a simple game or a really advanced game where students move about the classroom and have to think a little. I will introduce two touch games that I've played in the past.
1. Touch game with balls
( you will need different color non bouncy balls )
Drill your target words and put the cards in the middle of the classroom or on the blackboard. Split the class into groups of 6 then tell each student to decide an order from 1- 6.
All the number 1's from each group are to line up, and once all students settle down. The teacher drills a word that the number 1 students must try hit. First two - three students to hit the card gets points for the their teams. Next round number 2 students line up ...
2. Definition Touch game
This game is played liked Karuta, so it's best in small groups of 4 - 6. This game is a learning game so I usually do not make it competitive. ( everyone is a winner )
First tell students to cut out the mini flashcards in the back of their textbooks and write their initials on it. then have the students scatter the mini flashcards on their tables ( mix up all the students cards). You then drill the English or Japanese definition without saying the word, during this time
students must find the card that matches the definition. Everyone must find the matching card with their initials.
Do you have a request or a question or simple want to say thank you? please leave it in the comments section.
